Probably Tetris.
It's the oldest game I still play.
is up there though, especially if you count mods (Urban Terror forever!)

I'd have to say Quake 3.

Commander Keen 4, 5 & 6 simply owns. :P

For me it's either DOOM II or Quake III. Historically, nothing else has come close to either of those.

Ultima 6 or Ultima 7.

Both classics. Then the series went to shite.

But I remember countless hours playing ultima 6 on an old tandy machine. One of the conversations in the game was with a two headed horse. Problem was, the developers but the conversation text for each head on a different floppy, so you'd have to switch disks EVERY time the other head said something...which was after each response. But the game was brilliant.

7 was fantastic too.

quake 3, or wip3out maybe, or tenchu. one of those.
