Me Sucking

Made this last night to see if I could do something useful with respect to video on Linux. The situation is kinda dire, but technically stuff works. It's parts of a CTF match on one of the newer premium maps in QL.

I have no idea why Youtube is messing up the first part and making it grey. I'm going to try and rencode it with different settings and see if that fixes it.

A good vid, I can tell you used wolfcam for this. (blood and gibs, ads aren`t holographic) I like your frag at 1:14, you should definitely donate it to a frag video.

My only complaint is the music. Beach party music, especially with words, doesn`t really fit QL imho. I would go for techno music or even some select, fast-paced new age music, provided that they don`t have lyrics. Besides that it`s a valid effort.

My daughter of four months was very much intrigued by your video and would like to subscribe to your Youtube channel.

Not sure what the goal was, but it's a start I guess. As it is now, it's just raw demo footage with some music put over it though. Try editing the footage so that it's more like a highlight reel of frags and interesting moments.

It was more a technical experiment to see if I could successfully do something with video editing/rendering entirely on Linux (because I apparently hate myself). I'm going to make a more involved one soon, I just needed to get a handle on the tools (or lack thereof).
