Only played 1 but yeah it's a pretty cool game, especially if you ever played the original. Some of the sounds are the same :)

Yes I was eyeing Alien Breed as well.
I already got suckered into paying the full 1200 MSP for Quake Arena Arcade so I'm already hating myself for that.

Huh. I hadn't realized the quake 3 port had been released. I don't think I've turned on my 360 since I got a ps3 months ago :puke:

I downloaded and played Alien Breed: Episode 1 for a bit. I'd say that so far it's worth the 400 points... 800 is a bit steep I think.

The game is fun to play, pretty intense at times, but the whole presentation of it all, especially the horrible comic-style story board intermezzo's between missions with atrocious voice acting is terrible.

The whole thing feels like it was made by an indy developer that got it's first game out on an ultra-low budget. From a studio that's as old as Team 17 I'd have expected a lot more polish. I guess they spent too much time re-re-re-re-re-re-re-making Worms.

But while it's 400 points, I'd say get it. It's a relatively short game (it has 5 missions, first took me 38 minutes to complete, second a little under 50) so it's a nice way to vent some steam in-between bigger titles.

Right now I'm wondering if I should pick up episode 2 for 400MSP as well...
