2 questions for you...

First 1 is what is a good hallway dimension? 128x128 seems kinda cramped while 192x192 makes the player look tiny. 2nd question will probably qualify for dumbest 1 of the day. How do you spec bots in a game to watch behavior in a map?

You can aim for the middle and try 160 x 160 by adding 32 units to any 128-unit wide hallway.
For speccing bots: Enter spectator mode (start --> spectate) from the menu, then click the left mouse button to cycle through the bots.

It depends, really. 192x192 is very nice to move in and I'd probably recommend it as standard hallway size. Though if you want to create a dangerous path, choose a smaller width for the hallway. That way the player will have less ways to dodge and is easy to predict in his actions.

The best rule of thumb is to avoid hallways entirely if you can help it. Q3 gameplay works best in atriums with small short sections in between. Instead of hallways, make small rooms if possible. But to really answer the question, 160-192 width seems better. 128 seems more fitting for a doorway.
