internet play

I have Q3 installed and the game is working fine, but when i try multiplayer i get no server response or game listing.
can anyone tell me what is wrong?

make sure under multiplayer that it's set for "internet" and not "lan".

yes it is looking for internet games, but is getting no server response

If you're using the ingame browser make sure you set it to 'internet' in the mulitplayer menu or alternativly use
<u>All Seeing Eye</u>. It's loads better as you can filter for ping, mods, location, bunches of other games, etc..

It's a game browser that is much better than the ingame browser that comes with Q3. And also supports many other games. The words 'all seeing eye' in my post is a link, forgot to add the underline tags. Give it a try and I'm sure you'll be more satisfied with it than the standard Q3 browser.
