it's a drama that takes itself very seriously, and makes a case for both sides of the coin...despite the tired subject matter, it has a fresh plot direction that intrigues and keeps you watching. The characters ' credibility is never brought into question , even as the unconventional plot unravels itself.

Over all I'd give it a 8.5/10, as the quality of the episodes fluctuate from 6.5 all the way to 10.

The first season is already complete so you can enjoy all 12 episodes in a way that I have not....I waited for the season to end before I mentioned it, as a personal christmas gift to you all. Enjoy

New season starts this Sunday. Homeland just won several Emmys. I loved last season and can't wait to see what happens next...

last season mightve been good if he didn't pussy out. Why spend an entire season building up to it only to essentially go back to square one in the finale.

Watched season 1 with my girl (mostly because she thought it was really exciting stuff) and thought it was ok. But the first few episodes of season 2 are pretty awful... things just hinge on complete and utter coincidence and luck now, and there's no longer a sense of being uncertain who really is the bad guy. Which was the strongest thing season 1 had going for it.

Show is getting increasingly ridiculous, the writers keep writing themselves into corners they can't get out of without thinking up even more outrageous solutions to certain problems… it was never really good, but now it’s getting plain bad.

They should have made the story of season 1 into two seasons and ended it there i think, can't possibly see a good outcome for what they’ve gotten themselves into. Also Brody should have blown himself up, would have been an excellent ending.

I just can't stand that Claire Danes.
Cunt spoils it for me. Don't like. Won't watch.

What'd y'all think of last night's finale? I won't spoil it for you, but I thought they ended it right. It's time for some fresh plot lines, even though I thought this season was quite strong. Worth a watch
