EntityPlus sword model (ver. 2)

I was bored yesterday and I decided I'd have another go at the sword model idea.
(I do realize that a sword will most likely not be put into EntityPlus, And Ouija's model was pretty kick-butt, so I don't really think this will amount to anything. I just want to try and contribute to the mod.)
I've made the basic model but I can't decide on a good texture layout...I made a quick, crappy one, but, what would be a cooler look for this sword?
This sword was made with celshaded/fantasy maps in mind,btw.
(about the weapon-ness of the sword: will I have to animate the model preforming a swing, or would coding do that?)
