everything on the floor will just settle as a nice layer of dust everywhere...use a vacuum.

ive done it too

on a really windy day i opened all the windows and doors and blew the fuck out of everything

the only damage was on the corners of some enlarged photos mounted on plastic corrugated stuff that got blasted off the wall.

lots of dust flew out!

Me, I'd go the vacuum, then mop wet, polish if you need to on your hands and knees of course..
