Is there a mod still available that has this?

I really just want box stock q3 with the offhand grapple. Few guys at work are requesting it.

Threewave CTF, CPMA and Instagibplus all have the grappling hook.

I recently re-released my Loaded Q3A mod and it supports the offhand grappling hook.

I downloaded the mod and tried launching it, however the Readme-config.txt is missing and I don't know the command to bind the hook to a key. Care to explain some stuff?

Looks like I've left that file out. You can enable the off hand grappling hook by setting "g_hookOffhand" to 1 in the "configs/default.cfg" file.

The additional client side commands are:
"+button5" - hook
"+hiscores" - displays the high score table for the current map.
"motd" - Displays the servers message of the day.

eg
bind v +button5
bind q +hiscores
bind m motd

Also simple MODS like NoGhost 1.16+1.32, BMA v1.16 (Black Metal Assault) have grapple. With these you don't need to transform the whole came like some MODS do. I am sure there are even more. These mods I like case you can make
needed changes. Seriously! LOL Who wants to chase or be chased by a machine gun that fires 4 rounds a minute or shotgun that shoots 2 per minute..?

I think there also is a simple 'Weapons MOD' that has grapple too.
