id Software and Bethesda are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Wolfenstein 3D by providing the game for free via a browser based version of the game as well as making the iOS version of the game free for a limited time.

Also, watch John Carmack play Wolfenstein 3D in a 25 minute developer commentary!

This is good news because Quake3World loves Nazis! Oh, wait...

The video is really interesting with Carmack's comments... Or maybe I am just too much of a geek. Anyway, I still remember the first day I played the shareware version and I was simply blown away by this game.
