I wonder, is Monster drink paying for this? is this a self promoting stunt? Usually when i see shit like this I can't help but wonder what its purpose is, especially when it involves closing down public streets, which at the very least requires some pull.

The shortest route between two points is a straight line. Ken Block seems to disagree.

Monster and DC are sponsors of the event. Don't know what's hard to understand about that, it's the same with any other event: F1, Olympics, FIFA, etc. Sponsors pay money to finance the event and get some exposure of their brand, Ken Block paints pretty doughnuts on street corners.

The gymkhana vids are a good time, too bad Kenny isn't that great in a professional setting...
I think I need to talk to some swedes about a bomb proof cyl head, that poor engine...
Great to see he's continuing the series, the first video is still the best IMO.... The raw scoobie sound, less drama, more driving and car focused stuff.... Hell yes.

I didn't like this video as much as the others either.
The Compressor Surge between shifts at times drawn out with the backfiring, the Waste gate howling sounding like a Jet engine, the engine screaming through out..
