how should one clean the hdmi out on a phone?

shit is dirty and it's not sending out a signal... was working a day ago, but not any more....my cable works on another phone so it must be the connector on mine.
pressurized air didn't do much.

Try an old toothbrush and rubbing alcohol.

yeah I was thinking of that, but i was afraid that it might damage the connectors.
prolly go get a cheap soft brush and use that.
