I must admit I was trolling you for the Chun Li artistic impression, it does look rather good.

I've also visited your Deviantart profile, and saw that your style of drawing has been improving over the last couple of years.

Now here lies my problem with you : you have absolutely no imagination : everything that you post on your profile is either a copy or your own interpretation of something someone has already created (Street Fighter, the Kraken attack) or is a fictional character acted by an actor, in this case Lara Croft/Angelina Jolie.

I'll give you an example :



Do I think this piece of art is good? not really, but I see no resemblance of anything I've ever seen.

Use your imagination, stop copying videogames, movies, chinese stealth warriors, you catch my drift.

They're about an inch in lenght and then widen out and the hair that grows there is less dense , it has always been like that.

And I have a scar on the right side of my left eyebrow, due to a bike accident where my head hit the curb, kinda nasty, lots of blood etc...

Thing is with digital painting is that you have an infinite amount of chances to get it right, so stopping while it's still crap is just plain laziness.

Did you also read that this a scan from a photo taken for a request for new ID, so it's not downloaded from a camera memorycard.

You must have pics from when you were about 30-ish, scan em and prove yourself worthy of your claims.

The last time I saw a pic of you, you looked like a Yew with a bad case of anorexia, a nose the size of the state of Texas and an ugly dog as a girlfriend, that I at first sight had mistaken for being your offsrping. I saw a resemblance.

I agree with you. He SHOULD'T stop. he should however stop making copies of opther artists creations, even if he gives them his own style.

He should however find inspiration in something, anything that few other people will recognise, like taking before pics from the place where he lives,
and then make a copy of it in his own style, make something in any nknown style (impressionistic, surrealistic or even abstract for that matter).

If it looks like shit, he'd still get more respect from me for the effort he made.
