Hey man, if you're gonna quote me and use things I've said like "END" *yeah i'm looking at you MKJ* then I figure I've got a right to set things straight.

So to start, since replies like yours in another thread is what prompted this post:

END OF TEST was a complete troll. Probably my best one. In fact, the END OF TEST thread actually has imbeded within the HTML that the entire thread is a troll before anyone even posted anything.

Were lead pipes ever actually a thing?

Even before people knew about lead poisoning, it seems like a terrible material to use for plumbing (the use of these pipes I assume), it's heavy and soft. Or was it just the only option for pipes at the time because of its lower melting point?

clearly a basic knowledge of chemistry should tip you off here. periodic table symbol for lead is Pb, which stands for the Latin "plumbum" and is the origin of the English word plumbing. or, you know, wikipedia.

Sounds more like a basic knowledge of Latin, which is probably what was spoken the last time lead pipes were used.

Just saying, it's a silly choice of weapon.
