Since we're a diverse group of people I thought I'd let y'all in on a typical american snack. It was about 2 am so I decided that I'd have a salad. They're very tasty and nutritious. Here's a picture.

As you can see this is a healthy choice, fried chicken salad with ranch dressing. But wait! I forgot the croutons!

A healthy midnight snack

Fried food with 20 litres of dressing and croutons most likely soaked with butter is not healthy by any stretch of the imagination.

Reminds me of a dish that's popular in The Netherlands right now. It's called a "kapsalon" which literally translates to "barbershop". Dunno why it's called like that.

Anyway, it consists of a layer of fries, a layer of kebab meat, a (thin) layer of lettuce (to give the idea that it's not all bad),a thick layer of cheese and lots of sambal and garlic sauce. Put in the oven for a few mins to let the cheese melt and you've got your 1800kcal fat bomb ready. I'm not a big fan of it because usually all the fat from the meat and cheese makes the fries go completely soggy, but it's a good snack after a night of drinking.

No I actually thought he was serious. It wouldn't surprise me at all for someone to think that because a meal consists of chicken and lettuce that it is therefore automatically healthy.

I'm lactose intolerant so not so much cheese, and it was too late to make bacon. Rest assured tho.

Lol at all the morons here, it's just like when they fell for that onion article about Texas. I posted it to be sarcastic, not even looking to troll because I didn't think anyone would fall for it.

ed: also that's about the grossest thing I eat, which is why I posted it. An american posting roasted root veggies with asparagus, fresh pasta and some hangar steak isn't stereotypical. Last night for dinner I had a curry and nan.

i always stayed away from butter but now i think for some people its a necessity .

why? something about the cholesterol and hormones

i recently started working out again and as usual i get fast results but even in the past i eat alot of cals, i still got pretty thin.

this time i buttered the fuck up, plus whole fat cheeses, provolone ,white cheddar, egg yellows, and i can see a big big difference because i held on to an extra ten pounds for once even tho the fat off my body is gone.

if a person has a low body fat and exercises, i would suggest trying it out, no harm would be done and it really works imo.

it really seems to up the hormones

yea ok a typical night snack for me would be say pizza toasts.

white cheddar, provolone, i'll shave some sirlion steak and dredge it in tons of fresh ground black pepper, cayenne, sea salt and olive oil ( i like my late night pizza oily ) and fresh cut tomatoes, on rye bread for 12 mins in the oven on a denby flavours plate.

i use the rye bread because its my least hated flour delivery medium for my pizza toppings.

sometimes i'll have a massive stack of peppery salty oily sirloin on a teeny tiny thin open face bun (meat and cheese delivery system) and oven melted provolone on there

then two or three apples.

i eat like a fucking maniac in the evening because i dont eat until around 5 pm everyday.

i absolutely love it and its totally natural to me.
