Yes, only saw the mention of graphene the other day.

People using a DVD burner to produce the thin film etc and winning a Nobel Prize.

lol, barely have Li-Po batteries been rolled out when something better comes along. surely for electric cars you need fast charge, slow discharge though?

Depends how much energy you can store in them I suppose and if they discharge, if you can charge them up and drain them as you please though then why not ?

the fast discharge thing might not be a requirement, but rather a feature. so it can dish out lots of power only when needed. The way it is constructed, looks like it could choose to lift power from one cell strip, or more "cells" simultaneously.

This sounds awesome! But like all the awesome scientific breakthroughs I've seen in recent years, I wonder when it'll be available to the public in a big way?

they should bring in some smarter people to be scientists!
