more importantly, fuck you Ubisoft.
5 years ago you released an excellent remake of Prince of Persia for XBLA (among others). And now finally, you release a PoP2 remake of the same calibre..but only on phones&tablets.
fuck. you.

It's already been leaked...

Ubisoft's Uplay Service Hacked, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Leaked
Hackers are at it again. According to reports, the copies of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon that are available on torrent sites are the result of a Russian hack of Ubisoft's uPlay service. According to a report on Gameranx, a piece of code was used to trick the uPlay servers into bestowing ownership of the titles without purchase, including those not even available to the public.
Considering I only heard of this game today and haven't been impressed with anything about it (it looks as cheap and stupid as DNF) I'm am certainly not crying tears.

This game looks awesome. I didn't buy Farcry 3 but I will definitely be buying this. It oozes style and I am actually excited to play it, which is rare for me these days. The guy who envisioned this should be commended.

Perhaps EA noticed that overselling games doesn't work so well for jaded skeptical gamers, so now they're trying to undersell games?

(Or maybe they're just out of touch morons)

Ahem, what is this about? I can't seem to decide whether this is a parody, a homage or just stupid? And why Farcry 3? Does it have anything to do with it?

I guess they saw what Saints Row is doing and want to appeal to that crowd.

Pre-ordered today. This is a good example of a studio taking a creative gamble and I am very happy to pay them for doing it.

Just watched the interview. This actually has a lot of potential, but it depends on the execution. One way or another though, they receive massive bonus points for even daring to do this.

That's part of the appeal, for me. It's nothing to imagine an indie studio doing something like this, but a triple-A developer actually going through with it is something else. So I am really excited to get AAA-ish production quality on something so uniquely stylized. I'm not expecting a truly great game; I expect something that will last 5+ hours with Hotline Miami-style music, neon colors, and tributes to the 80s and early 90s (think Mega Man 9 cover art).

It's going to be great. My excitement toward this is really surprising, considering it's just a little thing I will knock out in an afternoon.

they'd get even more if they had the balls to make it a new IP instead of smacking the Far Cry label on it.
it's like Nintendo being afraid their sportsgame won't sell so they make Mario and Bowser play tennis.
