Every now and then, surfing the 'net' you find the amazing
I found this quite moving and got near emotional
You have to watch all the way through of course, especially about the 2 and 3 minute marks.
Hungarian shadow-theatre company ‘Attraction’ leaves the Britain’s Got Talent crowd and judges in tears.

The performance is absolutely quality, very well done. I don't care much for the teary eyed nonsense from the judges though. It's almost like viewers are told "you're supposed to be touched by this here now, this is your cue!"

Talent shows are made by and for uncultured people.
Didn't watch the crappy video.

I too become bitter, agressive & hostile when exposed to these sort of things.

Britain will drown in its own maudlin tears before it'll be swallowed up by rising sea levels

Appreciate I have never seen a talent show for more than a few moments while switching channels.
I too think they are for uncultured people
I put it up because it (IMHO) was moving and rather well done shadow puppetry, not because it was talent from a talent show. Enjoy.

i kind of disagree
would you feel diff if the talent was showcased instead of set against each other in competition?

That's actually a good point.

Yeah, there's a lot of hate towards the video in this thread, but the performance itself is just really good and I too think that if it wasn't framed in a Britain's Got Talent context, people would applaud it.

yeah, some people. other people would think "clever shadow theatre, but the song is mainstream, boring shit" whatever the context
