My new job

As a lot of you might know, being young and finding a job in south europe is quite a difficult thing these days.
Well I'm not part anymore of these suckers ! But I can't call that a real job either ...
so,
the house on the left of the tower will be mine. And I'll manage the shop inside the tower as well as doing some visits of the place for tourists, some cleaning, managing reservations for the holiday cottage on the right. And maybe help them bring more people to visit that place and build a new web page for them.
And all of that for something between 400 and 600 € every month. Hopefully I don't have to pay a rent. Oh, and I should have the internets !
So I should be able to continue some idTech3 coding on my netbook. And draw stuff. And read things.
If you visit France this summer, don't hesitate to come and say hello ! (and give us all your money).

Points for not being in Texas.
Bonus points for when the zombie apocalypse hits, you'll have your own defensible fort.
Also, you know how people always choose to make a map of their house and it ends up being lousy to play in? This is one of those rare situations where if you decided to make a map of your house, it would actually be awesome.

Well, my boss said he'd provide me with some logs to put in the chimney for when it will get cold and when nobody will come and see us. I don't know what to think. Well, the inside is quite small

Well, things have changed, but in the old days, the local crew were actually good tower defence designers. The tower was built some time after the 100 year war against the english and the french countryside was quite dangerous. The bad dudes had only one way to get in, and it meant walking all around the tower and being at the same time crushed by some rocks thrown from the top. So serious actually they have no record of anybody attempting an attack ... As for quite a number of french medieval castles.
Well, as far as mapping goes, I was always thinking as idTech5 as a really good tool for showing real world location, since you don't need them to get destroyed .. err interactive, sorry.

If you get a tour bus, tell half of the visitors that they need to defend the keep and tell the other half they have to try and storm it.

We have 4 or 5 brother towns that were also run by templars in the old days. And we also have the village of Roquefort, world famous for it's cheese ! That's a good target

I'll submit that to my boss

Well next week I'll bring my chainmail armor with me

and in one week we have a medieval event going on, with some knights fighting each other and stuff. It'll be fun
