QL versions of some old CTF maps (jlctf1, titans, q3wcp15)

Yeah this is a follow-up to viewtopic.php?f=10&t=49559 ... we'll see how well my solution worked.

OK so I kind of felt that it was a shame that I (or anyone) couldn't just fire up Quake Live and use it to shoot some bots on my old maps. The conversion process from Q3 to QL wasn't as braindead as I was hoping, but I think I more or less beat them into submission. I have release candidates and if anyone would be willing to check them out in Quake Live I'd appreciate it.

Each zipfile has a readme with some detailed instructions if you haven't put a third-party map into QL before. And some other comments about the changes etc.

jlctf1: http://files.neogeographica.com/downloa ... jlctf1.zip
jlctf2 (titans): http://files.neogeographica.com/downloa ... jlctf2.zip
jlctf3 (q3wcp15): http://files.neogeographica.com/downloa ... jlctf3.zip

I'm not going to rebalance these for QL, or change geometry or lighting, etc. Just doing a quick port for the hell of it. If something is outright broken -- especially missing textures/sounds -- please let me know and I'll fix it if possible. I've also been out of the loop on QL mapping so tell me if I'm just doing something dumb with the packaging or whatever.

If I have to make any changes I probably won't bother to change the pk3 filenames or bsp names, so to avoid confusion you might want to throw these away after testing them. Or don't, whatever. :)

Thanks!

All pk3s updated slightly. Nothing that requires re-testing for anyone who has already given a look.

I think they seem to be good to go now except for one weird thing. If I play the Quake Live version of jlctf3 against bots for a long time, sometimes the rotating red emblem from the floor of the red flagroom will decide to relocate itself to the center of the map. (This is a func_rotating comprised of a single nonsolid brush.) Anyone have any idea why that would happen?

Aw they just look the same as they always did! I guess though that there are now Q3/QL players that weren't even born yet back when these were originally released...

I'll honor the Q3W tradition, here's one shot of each:

I set them all up against bots and I thought that they played great...nice to see Titans...I played the hell out of that in Q3A way back

cp15 was one of my favourite maps to play in CPMA. It was too bad nobody else shared my love for it :(

Me and a friend played and still do play Threewave almost every day. We play wcp1 then wcp15 almost every time, but I had no idea someone here made wcp15. Map is classic.
