lol, Hollywood?
Ya know, if they would've took Mary Shelley's original story, it could've been a really amazing film. I don't think they've done a proper Frankenstein film since the 30s...

Ah, Young Frankenstein, one of my favourite movies.
Gotta love their take on "Putting on the Ritz".
On topic, wow, that trailer really does look shit.

Yeah, Young Frankenstein is one of my favorite Brooks films. But I was referring to a traditional Horror/Drama film portraying the original story...

it's a strange movie. 7/10
very close to the book. and not a typical hollywood movie with the usual three acts.
i like it but is has some weaknesses.
some quirky directing. especially the fight with the wolves in the first 7 minutes.
good actors: kenneth branagh, robert de niro, tom hulce, helena bonham carter ~ and john cleese in a non comical role.
it's slightly overacted in parts but that seems to be a design decision and i quite liked it - it's not cheesy overacting; more dramatic overacting. it feels a bit like watching a theater piece in the spirit of berolt brecht.

Looks like they listed movies about ancient Greece and just ticked all the cliché boxes they wanted in there.

Except the 80s action flick it's based on was actually a great movie and this garbage shits all over its legacy, then eats the shit and pukes it out on top of the leftover shit.

Oh god, I can't decide which one's more laughable: 47 Ronin or this wankfest.

Keanu Reeves hasn't made a watchable movie since Constantine

lol all of this reminds me of a seasonal phenomenon known as "Fuck you. It's January" ©RedLetterMedia
It spells out how all the movies released in and around that time of year suck fat cock.

Constantine was not watchable in the slightest

Are we trying to suggest here that Keanu Reeves' performance in The Matrix was a shining beacon of acting proficiency?
The Matrix was watchable despite Reeves' presence.

Watchable is a huge understatement. This was the top action movie of the decade.
