I finally did it...

I was debating whether or not to post about it, but since plained asked so nicely for new threads....
I got engaged over the weekend!
We're aiming for a wedding next fall but we're already behind the ball on any reputable venue in town it would seem. Here is a picture of us from a few months ago:

Yea, yea. Partly I think its a desire to do the things my dad never got the chance to. I'm not entirely fond of other people's kids so my view of parenthood is looking forward to the things I can teach them and the things we can do together. I'm not saying I wouldn't welcome a girl but I guess my fantasizing does feature stereotypical gender roles.
