Anyone else get it? I just started a quick session earlier and it looks promising. I like the seamless always online multiplayer.

Yes Doombrain I will buy a GTI if I find one.

I actually like that which is why I got it. It's not bad but they needed to include more players on the map at the same time. 6 ain't enough, the world feels slightly empty because of it. :/

I also never said I don't play racing games yo.

I like cops vs racers, but after Hot Pursuit reboot followed by Most Wanted, this feels like their spinning their wheels. pun!

also, you said that when GKY was working on Far Cry, if you remember that.
a million years ago.

Wow that woulda been a million years ago and no I don't remember. I'm actually a huge fan of racing games, they're my bread and butter. People change I guess.

Also I'd say this is a bit different in the fact that it's an open world that's supposed to be seamless online. The seamless part is what I like it just wasn't quite done right, but it's close. It also feels a lot like Most Wanted but it's made by criterion which made my favorite racing game of all time. Burnout Revenge.

Kracus went mental with Blur as well. I think he prestige'd it several hundred times.

Blur was fun... didn't really have that lasting appeal though.

MKJ, what's the point in having a borderline-eidetic memory if you only remember things that are a million years out of date? :sly:

Wait a minute... Actually you know what? I think MKJ is wrong. I recall GKY asking if people on this forum were familiar with racing game mechanics/physics and I recall responding to that thread stating I was pretty familiar with it since I raced a lot... I'm skeptical about your claims now MKJ. Especially since I've played racing games a long time now. I believe you asked this when you were working on Far Cry GKY.

Wow...there's some actual brain function going on.

Specifically, I was tweaking the physics for the vehicles in Far Cry and had made a thread asking for insight.

However, Far Cry had long been publically known as a FPS and had already released screenshots and previews, so your ignorance to the game-type was hilarious given you only needed a five-second Google search to realize Far Cry wasn't a racing game. That's why we all chuckled at you.

lol yeah I remember that too. Still though it contradicts what MKJ is saying...

edit: Also.. I loved the far cry series of games.

No...you said "I don't play racing games". I think you were getting pissed at someone (probably me) slagging you or something and your "I don't play racing games" comment was simply to be dismissive of my thread.

Still skeptical... I wouldn't have volunteered to help if I wasn't really familiar with racing games and if I was I wouldn't say I wasn't.
