Godamnit... I setup a mining rig like 3 years ago and gave up cause my shitty internet connection wouldn't download the wallet in one go. After 5 days of trying I just gave up. I still have the 5.8GB of 6GB wallet installed on my system too, just never bothered to try again.

Of course now it's too ridiculous to even mine a single coin and @ 1000$ per coin I ain't really in the mood to invest in something that's about to crash... I might pick up a few coins next crash though.

Funny, I did a search to validate this and you posted in a thread about bitcoin mining, but primarily to state your doubts about bitcoin. None of your posts indicate that you ever got involved in bitcoin mining yourself. If you setup a mining rig 3 years ago (which would be 2010) then why are you posting in a way that shows you're not too familiar with the process in 2011?

Yeah I tried to set up the wallet shortly after those posts so 2 years, not 3. I don't exactly keep track of these things...
