Gears of War is dead

Microsoft has acquired the rights to Epic Games' Gears of War franchise, the company just announced. Development of the series will continue at Black Tusk Studios of Vancouver, B.C.

They'll probably annualize it to compete with Assassin's Creed, Battlefield and Call of Doody.
Having said that, Gears might've been dead for some time already. The third installment wasn't that good IMO and I didn't even play Judgment.

I was gonna say, it was already close to annualized. And Judgment was franchised.. so lol.

I'm pretty sure I played maybe one chapter of Gears 3 and moved on to something else. That's not to say it wasn't good. I've gone to buying maybe one game every 2 years. Last game was GTA 5, before that was Skyrim. Now I'm rambling. But yeah, I've slowed way down...

Not to mention, the PC port was quite good .. and it had full co-op in campaign/story mode. Brilliant. Never played any of the others.
