Always watched on occasion, but have been overdosing on it with Netflix.
Any fans here? I know there are a few gear heads kicking around...

We've got a channel called Dave in the UK that shows old Top Gear repeats every day. I've caught up on old episodes with that.
That latest episode, though:
I liked the McLaren, that's what I'm talking about! I could eat the chocolate shoe but it's too big isn't it? Too much chocolate?

The interior of the Alfa Romeo puts me off.
The Porche won't beat the McLaren so Jeremy Clarkson won't change his name by Deedpoll to Jennifer. That's on next episode, this Sunday
You should watch the Top Gear: The Perfect Road Trip special that was straight to video (not broadcast) made in time for Christmas just gone, if you haven't seen it

James May's not in it but the other two both say they love him, kind of. Heh.
I've recently been checking for stuff about that Caterham track car, the SP300R. Hope Top Gear feature that. They still haven't done the Weismann GT MF5 which was a BMW V10 from the BMW M5 but then changed to a V8 Twin Turbo from the new BMW M5, or the Morgan Aero Coupe which uses the BMW V8 without any turbos, made just for Morgan. They don't test as many cars as I'd like, even petrol head cars, but the other stuff they fill the rest of the show with is at least funny.
I look for reviews of petrol head cars online cause Top Gear don't deliver enough.
Also there are only a few episodes per series then there's ages before it's a new series.

I'm not into cars at all and I enjoyed watching the series on Netflix. It gave me a better appreciation for the automotive industry, if nothing else.

They filmed that P1 bit the day after I was driving around Spa. I was chatting to a McLaren employee about why there was an army of cars there and he told me it was "a sort of promo day"
Love Top Gear...Clarkson is a legend

Unless i'm totally doing something wrong, Topgear on Netflix over here seems to be a collection of 'Best of' episodes,. A bit shit to be honest... you'll get a funny bit where they do a roadtrip or whatever and about halfway it suddenly switches to another episode and they interview some uninteresting person.

Aye, figured as much :/
I'm quite liking Netflix as a sort of TV replacement for people with no TV, when i want to watch something and i have no idea what to download is usually when Netflix is ideal.
But Netflix NL really needs to work on their content... after three months i'm finding it rather lacking. Not much on there that i'm interested in and haven't seen yet, and new content appears very very slowly.

wat
new content appears almost daily.
http://www.flixfilms.nl for updates.
as to the quality of the content, that depends on what you're looking for. I'm liking all the TEDTalks on there.. just the 20 min relaxation of pseudoscience one needs after dinner
also, if you want the yank content, install a plugin/extension to your browser called Mediahint. login to netflix, enable extension, watch US content.

i loved the ep in the USA where practiced drive-bys with real weapons against a mannequin on a test track
the thought of all those chattering classes Guardianistas' heads exploding at the sight of it was highly pleasurable

Haven't seen the newest ones. Going through a 'pick a season and watch it' kind of thing. Recently saw the Africa Special (where they went to Jezza and JC had a field day). Also the one where they make their own 'RVs' and Hammond has a pool room, among other ridiculous things. Curious to hear Clarkson's view on the Alfa.
I will check out that Perfect Road trip. I do enjoy James May and it's too bad he's not in it.

Yeah, excellent

Also enjoying your new icon. I'm assuming it's not all too new, I just haven't been here in a bit.
losChunk, that gif pretty much sums up anything I've heard about Clarkson. Haven't seen that if it was in an episode though haha.
I've started to watch this on my tablet at work now. Seriously can't get enough.
