Wow, first boot after install is SLOW. Probably fine after that. Haven't noticed anything else yet.

How much software do you have on yours?
I’m thinking it's to do with the UNIX style kernel and the amount of software

After every update OS X has booted exceptionally slow the first time. It then evens out and boots normally the next time.

permissions, permissions, permissions
X.4.1 didn't break anything here. And (as a Brucey bonus) Novation even updated a plugin for Tiger :icon31:

Nobody outside the UK will know what a "Brucey bonus" is...

i've installed pretty much by now, could be the fact that the normal boot's quite slow already. I gots the book on sleep mostly though.
I've been experiencing some weird problems with Skype after the installing the patch. The person couldn't hear me, I couldn't hear her. The speech menu was normal, but when I tried to calibrate the mic, it just hung.
Weird.

I still have problems with the internal PB mic. I can't set it to maximum, everytime it's set back to minimum....I wonder if I can report this bug to Apple.

I get that sometimes. I always thought some program was setting it back down. I use Garageband, Guitar Rig, and some small shareware recording programs at times.

I've even uninstalled Skype to see if that solved the problem. But no, so I installed it again, cause I only use the mic for Skype

I'm at work right now so I cant check this, but you might try checking the Audio/MIDI setup application to see if there's a default setting for the input jack.

Hey, you forked out for Guitar Rig eventually! It owns. I'm finally going to get rid of my amp altogether.
