Whats your browser of choice?

Just curious what you guys run. Switched to Opera this week and I'm loving it, especially the built in new tab page.

I was a Firefox guy for a while, then went to Chrome for a few years. But lately Chrome has had all kinds of bugs with the google account profile shit and addons so I finally moved on again.

Firefox because fuck Google.

Whiskey and DTS are definitely IE users.

Firefox. Always used Netscape, Mozilla and then Firefox.

Firefox. Firebug is superior to all the other developer tools I've found. Chrome is good too, but there's just something missing for me.

The last couple of versions of IE have been very good though considering what it used to be like.

Firefox for browsing, Opera for flash/youtube.

Definitely agree about Firebug. Since I've moved to the mobile team I really don't do much web work at all now though. Interestingly, the latest Opera uses an exact clone of the dev tools from Chrome.

I loved Firefox but I was having conflict with several banking/credit card sites among other things. Switched to Chrome, no problems to date.

Was Firefox, but decided it was too fucking slow plus it had to think for 15 seconds to "resolve the proxy." Went to Chrome, then to a modified version of Chrome called Iron, then went back to Firefox. Newer versions seem to be better. Just leave the fucker open 24/7 and I don't have to worry about load times, etc.

You assume Captain Mazda because I have been a convert of Firefox forever

I did load up Chrome one day, months ago but never pursued it for more than a day or two at most.

Chrome is too buggy, if a browser force closes on me more than once it's going in the bin. Use Firefox now that they fixed their cleartype shit from a year ago or so.

Firefox. Tried Chrome and it's ok, had some issues with Adblock though. I don't think I've opened IE in many years. Didn't care for Opera either.

Firefox, 'cos I'm the kind of scum that's addicted to Adblock Edge.

Chrome at home, an incredibly outdated IE at work, Dolphin browser on my mobile.

Thinking of switching on my mobile, Dolphin doesn't tickle me in the right places anymore.

I disliked it for the longest time. Had to keep it around because one of our clients ran their company on it (and thus our software). This newest version though, is good stuff. Very fast and responsive. Rendering looks great. New tab page is the best, even factoring in third party addons. And unlike Chrome, it seems to be good at keeping the impact of slow tabs isolated.
Mat Linnett wrote:Firefox, 'cos I'm the kind of scum that's addicted to Adblock Edge.
Interesting. Can't say I've really noticed the whitelist they're talking about. I can say that not using Adblock turns the internet into a wildly different place. The issue I had with Chrome is that every time I closed the browser it would reset all my settings and addons to some arbitrary point in time right before shit broke (no, I wasn't using incognito). The most recent reinstall of Chrome broke for me before I had installed Adblock Plus which mean I either had to install it every single day or just deal with ads and pop ups. I had definitely forgotten how shitty the web was.
