Ascendant

Particularly good mix of combat, light RPG and platforming.
It uses procedurally generated levels, and I usually shy away from that because I expect the randomness will lessen the focus on a well thought out and structured gaming experience, but in this case they fucking nailed it.

It's amazing such a small independent dev team (literally working out of some shitty shack) can produce such polished quality.

Buy this. If you have any gaming soul left in you, you'll love it.

I find I can pretty much fly blind, sheepishly following his suggestions.
He's the best game-info-goto I know.

Adam Sessler is another go-to for game reviews. He doesn't like rating games with numerical scores, and only did so at Revision3 because they made him. He's more of a "buy this game if you like X" reviewer. :up:

Absolutely. He's defintely up there, trustworthiness and knowledge wise.
