Wondering about making fragmovies from various demos of various players, I start a discussion, what music would be good soudtracks under all the frags and runnings in a fragmovie. Starting with a metal classic - Rammstein, which has made brilliant track that could be used as a soundtrack for that game movie type:

Any other ideas? Will wait for your suggestions :)

The clichés are some gangsta rap track, anything by The Prodigy and, indeed, Rammstein.

When well used and made with proper video editing tools, it would be even with that cliché nice :) Try to find some fragmovies with Rammstein and watch it. Quake 3 or Quake Live related gameplay tracks will work well just with metal or hardrock soundtracks, for well example Rammstein.

Well, this is nice vid, I think it is pretty old one as there are no effects like flying camera, which was introduced in fragmovies later, when Quake Live went played more than classic Q3. With these effects, nice smooth transitions and slightly increased contrast, it would be even nice with that music :)

dubz - Well, this can be also used, with proper sound filters (high filter to make sound cleaner, maybe a bit lowering the amplitude). I guess from the image it was re-recorded from original gramophone disc to digital version, these songs do not work well with fragmovies as crackles even with proper filter used always will stay in the record. It is good to listen, but not as a soundtrack of a modern movie. Make a remix and it should be better :) As a refference of great fragmovie, look for Flagaholics on youtube (High quality / High definition available), it should be under "The best fragmovie ever" caption or something like that...
