Hangovers are designed to make you feel alive like pin pricks
My solution is lots of water and a kind environment, with lots of QUIET

the water part i understand cause booze makes you dehydrated.
don't like the pin pricks, one sec while i take a shot of Remy. i get a feeling like fire ants crawling in my brain
hence, lorazepam which i haven't used in a long time

Dioralyte before bed or first thing in the morning with a cup of tea and some biscuits. Pint of milk before bed always helps me out as well.

oral rehydration solution, which is just 1L of water, half a tablespoon of salt and 6 tablespoons of sugar... you will be amazed at how fast you will feel a lot better.

once you've drunk enough to have a good time, just stop drinking. that way you get to have a good time, and don't wake up the next morning with a hangover
people are weird with alcohol. "this much makes me feel great, so if i have twice as much i'll feel twice as great!"

Damn straight.
Also, bacon for the morning and plenty of water before sleep. If the rooms spinning the water may be best to avoid.

I think you're forgetting the fact drunk people don't often make wise decisions.
