I am trying to play 1.32 as well as threewave
and my Punkbuster seems to be updated to thevery latest, I got PBWEB and updates it.

I cannot connect most 1.32 servers, I am getting this message:

client_unknown_to_auth

AND

PB GUID AUTH:UNKN

I have no idea wat these things are, I used to play everyday and can connect to a lot of servers then suddenly one time, I am getting these stuff

Go into your Quake III Arena folder and delete the file q3key. Then go back into and re-enter your 16 digit CD key.

Hopefully that'll do it. If you are using a "warez" CD key, forget it.

oh thanx for that but theres one more problem,

PB GUID AUTH:UNKN

i have no idea what that is, it makes me connect to the server and after a second it kicks me out then that message appears.

So when you use PBWEB?

What does it tell you? Any problems in updating like can not update file and such?

pbweb doesnt updated by itself, u gotta click it when its at the PB folder in ur quake3 folder.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought PB updates itself?

You do have PB enabled in quake3 correct?

You do have a valid q3key?

I'm just asking these things to get more info on what you have is all. :icon26:

Little addition: I know PB can manually be updated but it DOES update itself. :icon30:
