I'm really not too upset about it, I've waited this long to play GTA V already. If the pushed date gives them more time to optimize the game it'll be worth it.

That 65GB install though.. damn.

Given the state of some of last year's major releases and the bad press those releases generated, I think it's better to delay rather than release unfinished. Besides which, the initial port of GTA IV was pretty damn bad.
