Ubisoft offers a new live-action short film for Tom Clancy's The Division called Agent Origins. The full version of this is available on Amazon Prime with additional footage
Developed by Ubisoft and produced by Corridor Digital in collaboration with top talent, RocketJump and devinsupertramp, Agent Origins is a thrilling live-action narrative short film that brings to life the backstory of four Division agents. Starting on January 19, Amazon Prime members will be able to watch the episode compilation in a thirty-minute short film version with five minutes of exclusive scenes via the Amazon Video app on TV’s, connected devices and mobile devices or online at http://www.amazon.com/PrimeVideo.

“We’re excited to be able to offer our content across multiple platforms,” said Corridor Digital’s Niko Pueringer. “It has been an adventure to bring the world of Tom Clancy’s The Division to life.”

“Agent Origins and this first of its kind collaboration with Amazon is exciting and we’re thrilled that Amazon Prime members will be able to take advantage of watching exclusive footage that won’t be available anywhere else,” said Adam Novickas, VP of marketing at Ubisoft. “Agent Origins will provide the opportunity to introduce the game lore to consumers and immerse Amazon members into the world of The Division before the game’s anticipated release.”

I was too until I realized Ubisoft has a hand in it. Every single one of their games turns into a grind with about 5 missions that you do over and over until the end.

I'm hoping for at least living up to half the hype, anyone in for the Beta this weekend? Guaranteed access if you pre-order and Amazon Prime members get 20% off all pre orders.

Hopefully it's not like the Halo 5 beta, spent all my time chatting with people in lobbies that never actually went into a game >:(

lol right... This game isn't even on my radar because it's Ubisoft making it. Trust me, it's going to look nothing like E3 and it's going to be repetitive. That's their game model.

The sad thing is that the game looks really pretty on Xbox one. If Ubisoft hadn't released bullshit trailers, everyone would be commending the game for how well it looks. Now everyone is saying how it looks like shit because it doesn't look like the trailers.

I played pretty much all day yesterday and I must admit it's really good. Ubi didn't put too much in the beta, which is good. The environment is great, physics get a little wierd sometimes ( when shotting things I noticed some odd movements of the objects ).

Overall, NOT a let down imo, not like Watchdogs

I gave my beta to a mate as I was away for a week. He made sure to let me know the beta had opened again. Cunt.

Can we keep this on game play, and not how many bits of litter are in the street?

I think most of the issue there is that they lied to us about what the game looks like. If they lied about that, what else are they being deceptive about?

It's a single (painful) example of a bigger issue throughout the entire games industry and it's getting worse with each release. If left unchecked and unmentioned, these AAA publishers will only make things even worse.. By spreading information about issues like these the public will learn about it and hopefully the publishers eventually will better their ways.
