Russian ambassador in Turkey murdered

"This murder is clearly a provocation aimed at undermining the improvement and normalization of Russian-Turkish relations, as well as undermining the peace process in Syria promoted by Russia, Turkey, Iran and other countries interested in settling the conflict in Syria," Putin said in a statement on Monday evening.
The "only response" to the attack that Moscow "should offer" is "stepping up the fight against terrorism," the president added.
"The killers will feel it," Putin said.

Not good. Dude pretty much singlehandedly normalized the severely damaged Turko-Russian relationship after the Turks downed that plane. Voice of reason, in the sense that a well mannered & highly connected cold stone killer might reasonably tell you to cut that irritating shit out or else. But a voice of reason all the same - this is a bad moment in time for reasonable folks to get whacked, even the nasty ones.
Wonder what the Russian response will entail.

The world becomes several times more interesting if you allow things like reflection & perspective into your life rather than reflexively shoot emotional sweeping statements from the hip like some kind of dumbass cowboy.
And i'd really hesitate to call the Russian career diplomat whose previous assignment was a little place called North Korea innocent, the guy clearly was a top level intelligence operative as well as a diplomat.

Yeah, problem is a lot of the population seems indoctrinated. Case in point, massive pro-Erdocunt crowds attacking the military during the "coup". The right-wing nutjobs have a secure hold on the country.
Turkey is a cancer on the world right now, take them out of the picture and ISIS loses their express pass to Europe.
