Im really upset atm..
I had to do some late shopping in the city a few hours ago and there was that old homeless man... so i gave him all my coins.. maybe 4-5euro and told him to look for another place, cause it was really cold outside (around -2 to-4). 30 minutes later or so he was still there, alone & down on the cold walkway -just with a thin coverlet.
there are tons of hotels around that spot, so i decided to try and check if i can find a place for him -just for tonight. 1 of 10!! had a free room, they told me its without a bath/shower/toilet and no TV...in the cellar.. for 45Euro the night. When i told them that its not for me but for a homeless person (but i would pay) they told me to leave.

So i just went back to the guy and gave him 15Euro, but im still feeling sad now...
want to kick something...

I was a little luckier early yesterday. We went for our last minute NYE shopping. Just out side the grocery store there was this old couple (yes older than me) and he was on his knees in distress and his Wife was trying to get him to stand on his feet. He had one of those walking aid wheeled devices but just couldn't stand and he was about to go face down hard.

Short story, people came to his aid quickly. Store staff were excellent (he weighed a considerable sum) and we were able to get him into a chair while we waited for the ambulance.

AndyW, I find most of the public here are willing to assist as needed so if I were you I would give negative feedback about the hotel on the likes of [url=http://%20www.tripadvisor.com]Trip Advisor[/url].

Sadly it seems, businesses like theirs only stand up and take notice if they are give bad revues online or by word of mouth.

There is a saying in the Customer Service world, most people tell 10+ people of a bad experience where only 1 in those 10 tell of good experience.

You did your best and tried to help that alone is awesome! Not many would do that
