R.I.P. Chuck Berry, you did well.
Rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry has died at the age of 90, Missouri police say.
The St Charles County Police Department announced his death in a post on their Facebook page.
Rock 'n' roll's founding storyteller
Chuck Berry defined rock's joy and rebellion and influenced scores of other musicians.
"The St Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr, better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry," it said.
Police said they were called to a medical emergency at a Buckner Road address at about 12:40pm on Saturday (local time).
"Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques," the police department said.
"Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26pm.

So sad.
I was surprised to learn that he still performed once a month at age 90. Next thing I read is about his death.

Love the music, the dude and the fact that he made such a tremendous impact after struggling at a young age:
"In 1944, while still a student at Sumner High School, he was arrested for armed robbery after robbing three shops in Kansas City, Missouri, and then stealing a car at gunpoint with some friends."

That's a really interesting bit of info to throw into a conversation at a coffee table/wine bar.
Still, R.I.P. Chuck Berry, you did well.
