North Korea has wanted a peace treaty for the longest time, not only with South Korea but the US and rest of the world. The only one pushing for global conflict is the US with their hostile acts of intimidation and dick-measuring in the Korean peninsula. North Korea remembers what the US did to their country in the 50s and they have every right to ramp up their military strength when they're being openly threatened.

The second North Korea gets attacked, thousands of South Koreans instantly die. Not to mention the tens of thousands who die from North Korea wildly flailing about, dropping bombs on whoever is close enough to hit. And where exactly do we drop a nuke to kill Dear Leader where it won't also kill hundreds of thousands of innocent brainwashed Koreans? I'm sure China would be thrilled with the idea of nuclear fallout on their border...

Also Korea isn't a desert, so a nuke wouldn't turn the ground into glass. And the half-life is closer to 700 million years, but it doesn't stay uninhabitable for more than a decade or something like that.

I'm not gonna pretend I know the ins and outs of the Korean war but from my understanding NK invaded the south with the support of the Soviets whilst using China as a kind of proxy, the South responded with the support of NATO, since then NK has maintained an open state of war against the South with NATO / US maintaining more of a cold war situation by imposing sanctions, only recently has NK started making undertones of a peace treaty presumably to lift those sanctions. Now we're left in a situation where we have a totalitarian leader with a human rights record that puts the Saudis to shame consistently badgering his neighbours with threats, building up armed forces and pushing ahead with a nuclear program, so I support the situation as it is, with the sanctions in place, just like I support the sanctions against Russia for the annexation of Crimea n shit. These sanctions are no doubt a big hindrance to a country and are the only way to hurt a country that is a threat to you without all out war. If they want a peace treaty then the 1st steps would the the discontinuation of their nuclear program, an understandable request, but NK wont do that.

By your logic the Yanks can remember what NK did to SK in the 50s n all and have every right to ramp up their efforts too, but they've actually been pretty consistent throughout and maintained the status quo.

Trump threatening war is gimpy as fuck n all though, no doubt the Yanks are prone to dick swinging, but NK are their own worst enemy.

Lybia wasn't a nuclear problem, Lybia was a problem of Africans working to liberate themselves from international banking institutions which are designed to force them into completely arbitrary debt. Basically, Africans have been subsidizing everyone else with labor, and going into debt to do so. Lybia had started to create their own monetary system, which is why Gadaffi was stabbed in the anus with a knife.

The sad reality is that Americans have been openly propping up jihadist states that have absolutely no real need for their resources that Americans can get for cheap, while destroying states that are at war with jihadists and trying to join an international community, because those states actually need and use their resources.

That's why Trump went before a dozen African and Jihadist nations, and made sure to explicitly talk about Iran being the biggest sponsor of terrorism, when not a single person on the planet can remember the last time Iran has actually armed a terrorist group that has overwhelming power in any region. Everyone can, or at least, should be able to remember that time Americans gave Iraq chemical weapons and GPS coordinates to commit a war crime against Iranians on their own soil.

Oh, yes, those chemical weapons Americans gave Iraq are the same ones they used to justify invading Iraq a decade or so later, after America was attacked by a couple dozen hijackers, none of which came from A: Iraq, B: Lybia, C: Syria, D: North Korea, E: Somalia, or F: Iran, but about 80% of which came from G: Saudi Arabia, a literal actual jihadist state, which has been America's number one ally in the region for something like 70 or so years.

The threats against NK really actually have nothing at all to do with NK, and it's sad, because America's lies are catching up to it, and now the most batshit insane leaders appear to be more rational than Americans that arm their own enemies to attack them, while massacring people that are at war with terrorists.
