Public Games 7 Nights a week. Games starting unusually early this past week 5 6pm eastern! and lasting till 1am or so most nights!

Quake2 is free for multiplayer this link is for a simple almost 1 click setup for q2pro a modern quake2 client with built-in server browser. There's an alternative link there for r1q2 quake2 client that's also a pretty decent client that supports fast http:// downloads in games so maps n stuff don't take 20 minutes to download.

Those are the only 2 quake2 clients I recommend for online play.

Km quake2 looks pretty cool too but I can't say I really recommend it.

The steam version of quake2 or stock vanilla version from the cd are only good for single player if you don't like q2 pro client r1q2 gives the same classic feel as original quake2 client but good for online play.

Quake2 has to be the easiest of all quake games to setup n be online playing within a couple minutes and no hassle.

Drop that bright skin pak in your ctf folder it'll help you be able to see the players better so they aren't blending in with the textures.

Yeah I have run it on windows 7 8 and 10 no problem.

Any computer made in last 20 years should be fine
