Old, but new. Quake 4 Trailer, but in ultra high res.

They released the same trailer we have all seen before, only now in Ultra high res. Its so sharp you need a good PC to run it. Its also near to in-game quality, no jaggies, no texture problems.
BUT, the big problem is that I only found a link fron FilePlanet. I have the file already, but thats a mute point:
http://www.fileplanet.com/153871/150000 ... V-Trailer-[Insane-Quality]
Very nice quality, but it does make a few other things stand out that I wont mention...

I think Quake 4 is the follow up to Quake 3

But without the actual continuity.

It is and it isn't. Its a follow up to Quake 2 story wise, but Quake 3 Multiplayer wise. A good idea to follow Quake 3 MP after what happened with Doom 3 online... Did

really think 4 players would work?

An interesting premise!
I propose the UN sends international research teams to the far corners of the globe to study this letter-number continuity phenomenon in detail...
EDIT: pesky typos

O_o
Well, its not, is it.
Quake I
Quake II
Quake III
Quake 4
No, can't be. They picked the uber-l33t numbers and not letters, so its a new franchise.

ET:QW looks fan-fucking-tastic, and I couldn't give a rats arse about it being online only either. Its gonna fucking rock, and the strogg look stunning.

lol, Qu4ke, it actually "works" thats the stupid thing... It amazes me they didn't do that, seeing as how they dropped the IV

It also says "shit game". Have you ever played a game with a title like that, that hasn't sucked?

Nice sharp trailer, ran fine for me, and it did look marginally better than Doom 3. I just wish when they cut it they could have let us see more than a tenth of a sec of each scene ffs.

Yeah, same here, and I have no problems with the various HD trailers MS has released and different WMVHD movies I have on DVD :/
