had the joy of using the 510 and glovin' most of you, then i got the 518 and still rocking it to this day, this actually made me feel tingly

I had mine for many years till 1 day a button stopped working. Then the scroll wheel died. I ended up getting the 502 as its replacement, but never felt the same as the MX518. Logitech bastards never should have discontinued it.

Same here. Had it for years until recently when the cord developed a kink in it that caused it to randomly lose signal for a second before reconnecting again. Super annoying so I got the G502.

I was skeptical of the weird angular shape of the G502 but it’s actually pretty decent to hold. It’s a pretty good mouse and tracks really well. Only complaint is with the wheel button, it’s not a very nice click and sometimes hitting it causes me to scroll at the same time with unintended consequences.

Would I buy an updated MX518? If I was on the market for a new mouse, but I just got the G502 months ago so don’t intend on buying another mouse until this one finally dies.

i would've put a new cable on it.

the only thing wrong with my 518 is i peeled off the black film off the round logo, but now it's silver and it looks better :olo:

this time i might grab a few when they drop "just in case" they cease production

My 518 died a few months ago, well, the casing cracked. Maybe I should transplant the sensor into my old MX500.

Using a G703 now which is nice, and an M720 for work .

My 502's wheel broke in the first month of having it and the middle mouse button registers a click at random times even when I'm not touching it. I might take a loot at this 518
