Hello there,

i just installed quake 3 1.32 on my system, but i'm having this nasty sound problem... the separate sound effects seem to be like playing too fast, and you hear sometning gibberish like form some animation movie or sort of... i changed my pak0.pak3 fail with one from a original quake 3 linux iso but this didnt help... Can someone come up with a solution? Many thanks in advance!

Don't know much about Macs but could this be a drive issue? Do you have any problems with sound in other apps.

absolutely not. this is the only app i have this issue with...
but i heared people trying to run q3 on a debian system had it too... don't know what to do anyway :(
