Damn, this one's hit me hard :(
For UK gamers and computer enthusiasts of a certain age, I don't think there's anyone quite as influential as him.
And gaming certainly wouldn't be what it is today without his wonderful little computers.

Poetic age to die at though.

Nice!
Atic Atac was the second game I ever played on my Speccy, and was my favourite for a very long time.
Thanks to that, I preferred QWERT for controls for years.
