Damn. That's young, to be checking out at 56. I still remember when she ripped up the photo of the Pope on SNL and got canceled. At the time I kept thinking, why is this such a big deal? That she shaved her head was the thing I got caught up on at the time.

She struggled with depression her entire life, especially after the #1 religion of kiddy fiddlers put her on blast.

I learned to play Nothing Compares 2 U on guitar just last week. Sad to see her pass away though, I feel like her voice had a lot more to say but I can't say this news is a surprise.
