Hunter S. Thompson invented a new sport and is ready to conquer America with it. Read as he discusses the details with Bill Murray:

A snippet:

HST: "I've called you for some consulting advice on how to launch it. We've actually already launched it. Last spring, the Sheriff and I played a game outside in the yard here. He had the 9-iron, and I had the shotgun. And about 100 yards away, we had a linoleum green and a flag set up. He was pitching toward the green. And I was standing about 10 feet away from him, with the shotgun. And my objective was to blow his shot off course."

EDIT: also please turn the html on :E

...done it...hitting balls off of a pier at a duck hunting camp in south louisiana...started out shooting skeet getting ready for the duck season...well I had my clubs and a shag bag full of balls and one thing led to another...to top it off if you missed you had to do a shot of tequila...great fun...

Personally i'm of the opinion shotguns should be used in all sorts of sports. Curling, for example, could do with some action.

Hey, at least it's not a full contact sport.
