Quake3World

Hello there,

i'm looking for the Q3:A font which is used throughout the game (menu, hud, scores). i looked into the pk3 but could only find a tga-file where the numbers, another one where the letters are shown (texture i guess?). but i need a real font for windows.

someone got an idea where i can find one? or how to make a font out of this textures?

ps: i'm NOT looking for the everywhere-to-find old Quake-series font with the stylized 'Q'

make it yourself? surely it wouldn't have taken a year to read a couple FAQs on making fonts and figure it out.

whoa, hey there... big-picture stuff like fonts can be as tricky as the concept of time and may therefore be forever out of your grasp.

I usually use the Impact font and bold it.
It comes close to the font used in Quake 3.

Yes. This font is very similar. But I still think that id softaware used commercial font. Or create one his own, but do not spread it.

can't you just rip it from baseq3 ?
