Anyone without A/C?

Our A/C went tits up last year so now I get to sweat my balls off until we can afford a new one. Its 10am and its already 82F in the hallway.
What about the rest of the house? We have one sitting in the living room but it wouldn't do any good.SOAPboy wrote:Nope, never gone without.. go buy a cheapass window unit man.. shit you can find em at goodwill and the like for under 50 bucks..
Im not sure what brand it is. My friend's dad can sell us a new Armstrong for $350 but my Florida vacation combined with my wisdom teeth is going to be raping my bank.Billy Bellend wrote:trane?
You mean you have one sitting in the living room, but aren't using it? Hook it up, it will be a lot better than what you have right now.bitWISE wrote:What about the rest of the house? Depending on how big the house is, itll help ALOT..bitWISE wrote:Im not sure what brand it is. My friend's dad can sell us a new Armstrong for $350 but my Florida vacation combined with my wisdom teeth is going to be raping my bank.Billy Bellend wrote:trane?
There must be some reason my step bro hasn't hooked it up and since it's his house and his electric bill I will wait and see what he says tonight. However, I think we will just end up with one really cold room and 4 really hot ones. Our house runs north/south and gets hit with direct sunlight all day long. There have been times during the winter where we had to open windows.R00k wrote:You mean you have one sitting in the living room, but aren't using it? Well, make sure it doesn't leak or anything first I guess. If he won't hook it up, there's a possibility that something like that could be wrong with it.bitWISE wrote:There must be some reason my step bro hasn't hooked it up and since it's his house and his electric bill I will wait and see what he says tonight. Me either.. roll the windows down and be done with it..werldhed wrote: I don't even use it in my car.
I either run a/c or put the top down. With a black car I can't just put down the windows.SOAPboy wrote:Me either.. roll the windows down and be done with it..werldhed wrote: I don't even use it in my car.

That shit always happens too.. youll either be really tired or sick as shit and itll get hot as hell inside the house..Giraffe }{unter wrote:yesterday I was sick as hell fading in and out of consiousness. I woke up soaking wet and thought I had a fever. I got up to 87F... I pulled my shit together and went down to the basement and carried up my huge ass window unit shoved it in the window and turned it on.
I set up my "Ghetto air" sytem series of fans to push it around the house and went back to sleep. Why did it have to get so hot on a day that I was ill :icon27:
