Connection Attempts

I decided to check my wireless base station logs as my internet has seemed to go slow today. I understood the slowness when Azureuswas running, after shutting it down it was still slow so I opened up the old base station management tool and check the logs. All I saw in the logs were "2005/06/09 16:21:55 Connection attempt to base station from WAN blocked -- src:<**.***.***.**:****> dst:<**.***.***.**:****> " of course with IPs instead of the asterisks, the dst IP is always the same as the src is different. Even after I clear the log and refresh it 2 seconds later I get more of these messages. Anyone know what is going on? Seems kinda like a DoS attack or something.

Its probably other systems still trying to connect to you for portions of a torrent, which is even more likely if you were seeding.

Well I restarted Azureus and all the blocked shit has stopped. Good call Tormentius, any way to stop the people from connecting because while I know it isn't bad or anything, I still don't like it

It will stop as more trackers realize you aren't seeding the (presumably legal) files anymore.
