Latest Point Release Probs

Hey, everytime I install the newest point release and try and open the game, it never gets past the blue start window. Gives me some kind of error like trying to run in 4 expected 3. Or something like that. Can neone help me?!!!

It's the full version right? See if you can get the full error message. That would make it easier to figure out. Do you have any mods installed? If so there may be a conflict in there.

user interface is version 4, expecting version 3.
is this the error msg ?
it is the 1.32 point release youre patching with, right?

lol busetibi is a moron..
Such errors usually refer to "seta r_mode "4"" which is your in game resolution...maybe you installed another video card or new drivers so your old resolution is no longer available.
r_mode "4" is 800*600 by the way..

Go in your q3config and look for this line seta r_mode ...it's probably set to 3. If it is, just change it to 4 and you'll be okay.
I may be wrong but I remember having a similar error.

Agreed. Try re-downloading Point Release 1.32
here. Make sure it is installed in your Quake III Arena directory.
