Ok, I shot it twice, ringed its neck and broke its legs in the process, and it was still alive. But that was just a lucky one. The others werent.

Its funny seeing a rabbit being hit in the head with a whopping great slug and blow/rip the right hand side of its skull clean off shattering its brain into many peices on the field...

I highly doubt you'd be able to do it, unless you're a sick fuck from the start. You may think it's easy and imagine the scenario, but when you've got some guy in front of you, looking right at you, and you're about to shoot him in the fucking chest for absolutely no reason you'll probably find it's a shitload more difficult than you think.

I dont know, if it was a situation like being an allied soldier in Iraq and you had to shoot someone, I could. But otherwise, I wouldnt.

Combat scenarios aside, I'd only kill someone in defense of my home/family/self. Killing someone out of curiosity is demented.

I'd expect there're a few elements playing in there. For one it's war, so anything goes, and of course there are some sick folk who will always take advantage of a situation to do morbid things. I guess I'm referring to someone grabbing a gun, walking outside, and killing some random person. For any healthy person I'd expect that would be rather very fucking difficult to do, regardless of how much they think about it or do it in games, etc.
